David from Houma LA | Scuba Diver

Good Day/Evening!
I’m David Kingsley. I am a Surface Supplied Air/Mixed Gas Commercial Diver and recreational SCUBA enthusiast. I always LOVED water and the majestic things about it and never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would become a multi-certified diver. I have always wanted to SCUBA dive, so that’s not surprising, but making a career out of diving...that surprised me! I first wanted to be a Professional Airline Pilot...I washed out of school because of the lack of funds...I was in the army for 2 Years. Became a truck driver after that for 5 years, and now...I’m here a SS-A/MG-Commercial Diver.

In SCUBA, I am a NASE certified OW/Nitrox diver. I enjoy the depths very much. I am currently looking for a dive buddy to go diving on the weekends when I’m not offshore. At the current moment, I would need a ride, but I am willing to pay for fuel. I would like a dive buddy who has patience and can teach me more about SCUBA, that i may not already know. I would also enjoy having a dive buddy who knows where the really good spots are. I am not entirely comfortable with diving more than 70 feet, but with the right person who knows their stuff, I will dive deeper. On air, I can dive to 165 without suffering of N2 Narcosis. I prefer to stay within the No-D limits. My dive buddy can be male or female. It makes no difference to me. Experience prefered, but novice like myself will do as long as you’re a safe diver. I have never dove in the ocean. All of my SCUBA diving experience has been in fresh water blue holes and cenotes.

I have a BEAUTIFUL fiance whom I wish to get trained to SCUBA Dive. I would prefer for her to be NASE certified, but I suppose PADI will do if I can’t find her a NASE instructor. so if you are a NASE instructor, I will welcome your experience to teach her. Please inquire by DM if you’re interested! I won’t turn away the knowledge of a PADI instructor either. I myself may choose to obtain more certifications under PADI, but I am definitely looking into NASE for myself.
