For the best diving here you will need a kayak. There is only a few days a year that the visibility is more then a meter or two inside the bay. A short paddle on a kayak and you can be on the outside of the seawall for a spectacular dive. Very rocky bottom with a lot of life, there is even an old anchor near the rock on the south side of the seawall. If you are there on one of the rare days that visibility is good you might pick up a halibut near Smith Rock (the tiered rock inside the seawall).
As with any diving on the central coast, pay attention to the swell and wind predictions as it can change rapidly!
