La Charette is a boat accessible fresh water dive site, located in Georgeville, QC, Canada. The maximum depth is 26-30ft/8-9m.
This site owes its name to an old wharf equipped with cart wheels that is found 30 feet deep in the middle of the bay. A little further south, at the same depth, we also find the framework of another portion of wharf. The small cliff has a very rugged rock formation and offers protection to young perch as well as several newborns of the season. On the rocks we can observe small freshwater sponges and on the mud bottom very large crayfish.
