small, well kept park with a swim beach and rest room facilities. Park closes after Labor Day so there is a .25 mile hike from limited parking area outside main gate. Lots of tannins in the water give the dive a tea colored hue. Flat, gently descending bottom with occasional rock or boulder. A few small fish and lots of underwater vegetation (does not encumber the diver). This would be a good site for refresher training or to get wet after a long hiatus.
