East of Shark Ally

This dive takes place in 50 feet of water on a white sand bottom with scattered coral heads. Divers kneel in front of a decommissioned recompression chamber with safety divers covering them. The sharks are fed by hand with fish held in a neoprene-covered PVC pipe. You can expect attendance by 20 to 40 Caribbean reef sharks. It is a very well-ordered and well-controlled dive.

Dove here on Feb 18, 2022. Warm day, with water temp at 75 degrees. Vis was 70 feet. A few sharks around, but there was a boat 200 feet away feeding them. Nice dive, with a slight current.

Went on the one-tank dive with UNEXSO. Lots of sharks, a friendly grouper and plenty of visibility.

This is where Unexso does the shark dives and feedings. I didn’t go with Unexso, but there were still a lot of sharks all over the place. Awesome dive.
