Florida Aquarium: Dive with Sharks is a shore accessible salt water dive site, located at 701 Channelside Drive, Tampa, FL 33602. This dive site has an average rating of 4.83 out of 5 from 6 scuba divers. The maximum depth is 26-30ft/8-9m. The average visibility is 26-30ft/8-9m.

The DIVE WITH THE SHARKS program provides a unique experience. Our primary goal for this program is to dispel many of the shark myths, and to take the fears that people have of sharks and turn them into fascination and respect. The exhibit is about 22 feet deep and holds 500,000 gallons of water. During your dive, you will see a handful of large sand tiger sharks, moray eels, a Green Sea Turtle and dozens of other species of fish. In order to acclimate to the water and adjust weighting system, each diver will enter the exhibit through a shark cage assisted by an Aquarium dive master. When ready, divers will exit the cage. Our swim and dive programs are generously supported by the National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI)

Smaller aquarium than Epcot or GA, still a really great time. The sharks, turtle, and many varieties of fish and rays were amazing. Only two guests and two dive masters in the tank at the same time. You dive an al53 for half an hour. The aquarium provides everything you need save for a mask. I think it ran $150 but was reasonable for the chance to dive with many fish you’d never see in 10 ocean dives. If you’re in Tampa for a day, especially if cruising, as it’s in the cruise terminal, check this dive out. It was easy to reserve the day and time I wanted, last minute, on their website.
