Cenote Kukulcan is a shore accessible fresh water dive site, located in Puerto Aventuras, Quintana Roo, Mexico. This dive site has an average rating of 4.33 out of 5 from 9 scuba divers. The maximum depth is 31-35ft/9-11m. The average visibility is 101-110ft/31-34m.

Part of the Chac-Mool System, the entrance is a couple of hundred feet away from Cenote Chac-Mool. Access to the KuKulKan Cenote is through a beautiful pond at one end of the Cenote . At aproximately 10mtrs, you will be entering the Halocline zone. Shine your light to the point were salt and fresh water meet and marvel the reflections projected on the walls of the Cavern . The dive passes through a huge Cavern hat surrounds the Cenote . The light effects are amazing, as sunlight penetrates the darkness. Take a moment to look towards the ceiling at the entrance to see the colors of the rainbow.

I went scuba diving here on 12/8/2012. Average viz: 91-100ft/28-30m. Water temp: 76-80°F/24-27°C.
This was an amazing experience and got me interested in cavern/cave diving. This was as great cavern dive with amzaing formations.

Lots of divers the day we went; very distracting

the halocline was cool
