One of the most popular places in the British Virgin Islands, this diving site got his name from the wonderful sceneries that lay under the waters, with the colorful, coral covered walls.
Bold coral – yellow, red, orange, and purple – will captivate your eyes with exciting bouquets. Be on the lookout for pillar corals anchored on the sandy bottom. On the southern ridge you will find a huge coral reef, boasting with small fish and critters that hide in its nooks and crannies.
Hawksbill turtles, lobsters, nurse sharks, barracuda, silversides, tarpons, shrimps and green moray eels roam these waters, with vibrant aquatic plants billowing from the slightest current.
Canyons, walls and a narrow cave, all located along the four gullies will keep you occupied for hours while swimming along exotic fish and admiring the colorful palette of corrals encrusted on the walls. Painted Walls is considered to be the most vivid, picturesque diving site in this territory.
