Addie Bagley Daniels, named for the then SECNAV’s wife, hull #2879 was finnished on 10/44, sunk in 1975 441’x56’, broken in 3, top is covered with sponges and some coral.

From my log: we desend and turn left along the hull which is covered with sponges and some corals, the plankton limits vis and would create backscatter, there is a loggerhead turtle sleeping underneath and lot’s of Highhats, Spottail Pinfish, Sheepshead, some Atlantic Spadefish but no crabs. Mid water is loaded with large Comb jellies, the red line on my forehead?

Next dive: This time we turn right and quickly realize we saw the whole hull on the last dive so we move up on the structure and find more growth, some of the uprights are there own reefs and take awhile to explore, Mark has a sea spider walking on his hand, he finds an Arrowcrab and a Scorpionfish, an overhead has bleached finger coral, not enought light for algae? A 4’ fish, possibly an Amberjack goes between us, the cuda are big and fat here, one Fairey Basslet, Harlequin Bass, some Squirrelfish, more drums and schools of Tomtate.
