I went scuba diving here on 8/3/2013. Average viz: Under 5ft/2m. Water temp: 66-70°F/19-21°C.
This cold be an interesting dive. The ranger tells me that it was used at one time to float timber out to Lake Michigan. There wher lots of logs visible from our depth, but I forgot my dive light so we stayed close to the serface and found some beach toys and such. We plan to go back this summer and try it again with some better planning.
