Loading...
Tenkiller Scuba Park is a shore accessible fresh water dive site, located at 448159 E 979 Road, Vian, OK 74011. This dive site has an average rating of 3.00 out of 5 from 9 scuba divers. The maximum depth is 91-100ft/28-30m. The average visibility is 5-10ft/2-3m.

Tenkiller scuba park is in Vian, Ok. It is on Lake Tenkiller at Pine Cove Rec. area. If you go down to the boat ramp your bound to find it. The area is roped off so boats can’t get in the way of having a good and safe time. There is an old boat ramp as the entry point, if you swim straight out to 30’, you will run into an old ski boat. From there you can go right about 60 yards at the same depth and run into 2 old fishing boats, or chose to go left at the same depth and run into an old school bus in about 40 yards. If you drop to the nose of the bus and continue the same direction at the new depth you will run into the plane.

Have fun hope you find it all.

Dive park has several boats, helicopter and plane. I have been several times. Vis has been 3-5 most trips but I have been when it is 5-10. Lots of fish including perch, bass and catfish.

I went scuba diving here on 8/15/2020. Average viz: Under 5ft/2m. Water temp: 76-80°F/24-27°C.
Silt was in full effect limiting 0-40ft vis to about 5 feet.. past 5 you can barely see a person. after 40 it looked like it opened up as you began to find the thermocline. Didn’t get to go that far as we have a JOW that is maxed at 40. Still was able to stumble on bus and plane

Went today at noon and the vis was garbage. Couldn’t see more than 6 inches

Vis gets stirred up and messed up quick. other than that not a bad place to dive. Been over 100’ there more than once.

Turbid water, low vis. Basically just went to get wet.

Over all I consider this a good spot to local dive. The plus side includes easy access to water from vehicle, no need for boat or long surface swim, fun things to see. Negative side would include potential crowd on nice days, silty so proper bouyancy is must to stay off bottom and keep vis. clear, also a couple dives and you will have seen it all, so if your a sight seer then you may get board quick.

I recommend.
