Blue Springs Quarry is a shore accessible fresh water dive site, located at 545 E. Hendricks Street, Shelbyville (Waldron), IN 46176. This dive site has an average rating of 3.50 out of 5 from 22 scuba divers. The maximum depth is 51-60ft/16-18m. The average visibility is 11-15ft/3-5m. This dive site provides bathrooms and airfills. Training platforms are available.



An old limestone quarry that usually has very good visibility (20 feet) especially if you go during the middle of the week.


Platforms 20ft deep. has underwater ropes to lead to most other objects & wrecks. armored car, boats, etc.


August weekend - 78 surface temp, 45 below about 30ft. ~ 5ft vis.

Have not dove it the past few years due to timing and I hear that it is currently closed to divers pending some legal issues, but I hope they clear things up and open this location back up. I would enjoy going back and diving even if for memories.
