Longport Jetty is a shore accessible salt water dive site, located at 11th. St. & Atlantic Ave., Longport, NJ. The maximum depth is 21-25ft/6-8m. The average visibility is 5-10ft/2-3m.
Like any beach entry this is best at slack high tide.
There is a lot of boat traffic and fishing going on here in Great Egg Harbor Inlet so this would be best as a fall dive.
Stay near your dive flag and carry line cutters and stay away from fishermen.
