I went scuba diving here on 3/21/2017. Average viz: Under 5ft/2m. Water temp: 56-60°F/13-16°C.
Winter is finally over. I did a shallow dive to see if my equipment still works after sitting all winter. The viz was good enough for that but just barely. I wouldn’t call the water warm but it’s not too cold for my 5mm to allow a nice long dive in a better lake.

I went scuba diving here on 3/16/2016. Average viz: Under 5ft/2m. Water temp: 61-65°F/16-18°C.
Not bad for a winter dive and I didn’t have to go very far. Surprisingly the water was 64F in the shallows already. Combined with a sunny day it was a pleasant place to hang out for a few hours and do a dive. I didn’t see any fish but I saw nests and other signs of habitation. Lots of boaters were doing test runs probably to get ready for the summer season.
