Foss State Lake is a shore accessible fresh water dive site, located at 10252 Hwy 44 Foss, OK 73647, Foss, OK 73647. The maximum depth is 51-60ft/16-18m. The average visibility is 5-10ft/2-3m.

According to park manager best diving is over by the Dam away from infrastructure of dam. Depths can reach 50+ ft. Visibility varies but from what I was told is under 10ft. Don’t have a lot more information but plan on diving it next week and will give updates. As far as I have been informed this is only lake you can scuba dive west of Okc near I-40.

NauiDiver03 - 8/23/2013 4:32 AM Well went out and dove foss lake with couple of people and to say the least I was pretty disappointed. The visibility was 0-3 ft. There was times I could barely see my gauges. And it is apparently this way all the time. I called around to other local lakes around elk city area and they all said their visibility was nearly 0. So I guess there is really no good places to dive in western Oklahoma.
