Pay close attention the the currents, this is a drift dive that can be challenging in strong current. I perfeer diving here during slack tide,

Great dive, timed high slack very well, visibility was pretty nice 20-25. Saw a lot of critters, toad fish, blue angelfish, lots of sheepshead, white grunts, some juvenile gag grouper, stone crabs, a few lion fish and other divers reported seeing a goliath. Spotted my first blenny, the hp100 provided a nice hour long dive.

This was where I conducted my four dives for my Open Water Certification. I don’t have a experience to compare it to. Had a great time and saw lots of fish.

Great conditions in October with a ton of wild life and shells. Currents can be swift towards the end though.

One of my regular dive sites. This site is very dependant on the weather. If there has been a lot of rain then the water is very colored due to the run off from the marshes. If there has been no rain and it is summer then the rocks are carpeted with bait fish and the spannish makeral patrol the schools darting in to take one or two. Obviously you’ve got to look at the tides and also the boat traffic/ fishermen. I’ve been hawled towards the surface a couple of times.
