Deemed the "Caribbean of the midwest." This quarry is set up just for divers (No boating or fishing allowed). There’s 2 sunken boats, an old USMC transport truck, a rock crusher, and a few other sunken treasures. Not especially great vis, (anywhere from 5-20ft) averaging around 15ft. Great spot for training b/c of the 2 platforms and a beach entry. All has a "deep hole", which is great for A.O.W. deep dives.
Overall, a descent dive spot, but no comparison to tropical dive site.

Dove this a few years ago and meant to go back this summer.  The weekend we were set to go the vis went south on us and we had to cancel out.  Diving off the deep dock is great.  Makes for a nice easy entry and it’s far enough away from the beach that you don’t get alot of traffic and students.  Night diving was very nice here.  clear water on the deep side made along with a full moon made for some great photos.  Could almost dive without lights that night.

Overall a nice site and somewhere to drive once or so a season but we’re 5 hours away so it’s something we have to plan for ahead of time and not somewhere we’d be able to just pick up and drive to on a Saturday morning.

Great vis as long as students arent mucking up the bottom. In late June temps were 78 on the surface and 68 at 20 feet. Lots of fish to see

Took my training there ,and go back a couple of times a year with my daughter. She doesn’t like the cold so we stay at   20-25ft. and watch all the fish. The owners are great ,and it is a very friendly place to dive.  Have never had a bad day there even when I lost my mask(don`t ask).

My cousin and I love to take a day to go out to Haigh.  It is about an hour from where we live, so not to far.  It is just a relaxing place to go dive on a summer day in our area!  There are a lot divers that come out here and its fun to see them under the water enjoying it as much as we are!!
