We were the first divers there in the morning so our first dive had perfect viz. 4 divers with snorkels exited the spring just before our 2nd dive which sent a clear message to me for reduced viz. Most OW divers aren’t taught the buoyancy, trim, or proper frog kick required to reduce contact with the silty bottom of most springs. The viz dropped from 100+ft on our 1st dive down to 40-60ft for our next 2 dives. The 4 of us made a conscious effort to avoid contact with the silty areas so we had great dives. Dive #26 of the 100 dives I hope to complete in calendar year 2016!
