Merry Christmas y’all! It’s a bright and beautiful Sunday at the Blue Grotto.

Today’s dive started out as a commitment to help a newly certified open water diver, who then canceled an hour and a half after the agreed upon meet time.

Two weeks ago Paul said he’d be in town for Christmas and that we could dive cave on my day off, but being that I’d already given my word to help this young diver, rather than break it, Paul opted to join us, dive open water, and see the Blue Grotto for his first time ever.

What appeared to be lemons turned into lemonade due to nobody else being in the crystal, clear water.

Paul got to meet & feed Virgil and her buddies, and I got a few good shots in the process.

We shared a lovely day together, and seeing the pics of Paul, I couldn’t be more proud of my first, true protege. Paul is refining his skills remarkably well, and I have no doubt that the world will be hearing about his accomplishments and ventures, in the near future!

What a wonderful gift it is to witness such accomplishment.
