I use the Heinrich Weinkamp’s Digital Adapter to reuse my old analog Ikelite strobes with my digital point and shoot camera. Cost $135 much cheaper than buying a new low powered strobe. Even does TTL, works best using Manual exposure mode and your internal strobe triggers the Digital Adapter to fire the strobe at the correct time and if you strobe can do TTL, the adapter will emulate the signal to turn off the flash of the strobe.
