Squeeky clean shark repellantAfter many years of research into various compounds formulated to repel sharks, researchers have discovered a very simple compound to make pesky sharks think twice. Tucked away in your household cupboard is the ultimate "bad shark - go dinner here" fix known as Liquid Ivory Soap. It seems that when sharks get a whiff of this stuff, they decide to go away, fast. Researchers have discovered that the componants are Sodium and Lithium Lauryl Sulfate. Researchers also warn that this compound mixture is not healthy for the aquatic environment, and users should refrain from using it unless absolutely necessary.
