Congratulations to Tony, Rob, Mark, Mel, Mike, Angela, Jenny, Terry, John and Justin on completing last week`s Open Water Diver Course and congratulations to Carter for completing the Enriched Air Diver Course. I had a great time in last week`s class. I hope you all enjoyed it as well. I would like to say thank you for all the wonderful comments on the course evaluation sheets. This was a great opportunity for everyone. You got to see the benefits of Enriched Air by comparing your pressure group to Carter`s pressure group at the end of the dives. Observing the eels, scorpionfish and the variety of marine life made for 4 great dives over the weekend. I never get tired of seeing turtles slowly swim by. During the second dive on Sunday, I had the feeling I was diving in an aquarium. What a great feeling. Don`t forget about the Certification Celebration on Nov 29th. The certification celebration is a great time to come out and celebrate with us. Come enjoy dinner, music and meet new divers and maybe even find some future dive buddies. Check this website for more information: http://www.oceanconcepts.com/special_events/quarterly_certification_celebration For those that are interested in continuing your training. I will be doing the Advanced Open Water Diver Course 1-2 Dec. This is a great class...5 dives over two days...all boat dives. Check the Ocean Concepts website or click the link below for more information. http://www.oceanconcepts.com/diver_training/recreational/advanced_open_water During the Advanced Open Water course, you will do a deep dive (80-100 feet) and a night dive. You will also practice some underwater navigation, underwater photography and gain some experience in identifying the marine life you will see. Call Ocean Concepts at 677-7975 for more information and to register. Some independent learning (through knowledge reviews) is required. I`ll be looking for you guys underwater. Dive safe, dive often and tell a friend about diving. -Carlos
