Just don’t forget your ID when you come down... Vets are scanning their DD 214 and sending down.

Yes under military regulations it is illegal to photocopy a US gov ID or CAC. These incidents are a violation of Title 18, U.S. Code, Part I, Chapter 33, Section 701 and are punishable by fine and/or imprisonment. Copies are only authorized for military or civilian medical providers to use as proof of insurance for medical needs.

We are just looking for proof prior to coming down, just in case the paperwork or card gets left behind.. Don’t think it is legal to make copies of your passport, but they recommend it.

Keith, I do believe it’s illegal to make a scan copy of our CAC’s, I’ll check when I get back from burning off my use or lose :)
