I enjoy wreck and reef diving but, if I am subsurface I am happy so I don’t mind stalking fish in a rock quarry or mud puddle. I am looking for some open-circuit buddies to dive local quarries and NC wrecks. I am also a drysuit diver so I can dive year round. I dive wet as well in warmer weather.
As an open-circuit diver I would like to find some buddies that do that but, I am also looking at getting a CCR certification and would like to connect with other divers that do CCR as well and are looking for buddies.
I am a PDRA member (Piedmont Diving and Rescue Association) and have 24/7/365 access to three local quarries. I can take a dive buddy there 2 times as a guest but, they would need to become a member as well to dive there more than twice. $90 gets you a 1-year membership and 24/7/365 access to the quarries so it is much better than $20 a visit like some quarries.
Ideally, I would like to get 2 or more dives in each month and those can be training/ practice oriented or just fun dives to explore and observe.
